Stephen started his martial arts jouney with Kali. He later started Gracie Jiu-Jitsu classes at O2 Martial Arts Academy and quickly absorbed all the grappling techniques. His intelligence and attention to detail allowed him to progress extremely quickly. He inquisitive mindset allowed him to not only learn and apply the various techniques, but also was able to convey those techniques to those around him and started to assist teaching classes.
He is happily married to April and has three incredibly talented sons in Jaden, Rylan, and Micah. He enrolled his sons in the O2 Rhino Wrestling program and was quickly drawn in to helping to teach has he assisted his sons. With his analytical mindset and ability to internalize any and all grappling techniques, he took at larger role and is now our co-head coach of the wrestling program, focusing on folkstyle (high school style of wrestling).
