Craig started his martial arts career in Kempo and through years of dedication and hard work has rose to a high level black belt. While working as a firefighter, Craig met Robert Moss who was taking Jiu-Jitsu from Relson Gracie and Chris and Mike Onzuka. Always looking for more training partners, Rob convinced Craig to start training with him at the fire station. Craig caught the Jiu-Jitsu bug that complimented his stand up martial arts training and has been training consistently ever since. He has stepped up as one of the head instructors of our day and night classes and is very detailed and organized with his teaching after having become a polished instructor at the Honolulu Fire Department where he about to retire as Assistant Chief. Craig is extremely well rounded with his knowledge base and shares his extensive experience and techniques with the class in a very welcoming environment and earned his Relson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu black belt on May 22, 2025.
